It’s Friday again and that means time to post those things we’re celebrating this week, as part of a blog hop led by Lexa Cain.
This week, I have several things to celebrate.
- Made it to the gym/outdoor cardio every day this week. Yesterday I got to go for a fun walk at Wildwood Park.
- On Sunday, they had an author panel at our local library. I got a signed copy of a fun book from a local author, Natalie Damschroder, as well as some fun advice from authors to aspiring authors. It was a real pick-me-up.
- Also got to take a lovely drive up past the Appalachian trail and the Blue Mountains for a quick trip up to Millersburg.
- Got my A-Z challenge posts done. This is not as hard as last year because I (mostly) wrote posts ahead of time but I’m already seeing how I could have prepared better and had more time to visit other people. As it is, it has been hard.
I’m sort of skating by on a few hours of sleep. Probably because of the seriously weird weather changes one thing I can’t celebrate this week is the ability to sleep. I’m sure there are other things but my brain keeps blanking out at weird moments and then I think – wow, I am really tired. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get more sleep tonight. Happy Friday!
What a nice blog series. Very jolly. I might have to sign up to this one after the A-Z finishes. Well done being organised…sadly, I’m winging the A-Z day to day!
Way to go on the daily exercise! Hope you get some sleep this weekend!
Thanks Lara! Me too.
Sounds like a great week! Enjoy your weekend.
What a busy and cheerful week you had with the author fair, exercising, and sight-seeing in the Blue Mountains. I’m sorry about your sleep depreivation. I’ve been having trouble the last 2 weeks, too. I’m just a bit stressed, trying to make myself work harder and still not accomplishing near as much as I’d like to. I hope we both get some good sleep soon! π
Oh, funny thing! When you comment on my blog it lists you as Anne Doucette, but your Google page has no posts or blog address for you. On my CTST linky, you’re listed as Anne Higa. I somehow got it into my head that the two were different people, and I’ve been running around like a maniac trying to figure out where “Anne Doucette” has a blog so I can return comments. I actually found another Anne Doucette on FB, an author, though she doesn’t seem to post much – and has no link to a blog! I was afraid I had a CTST member called Anne Doucette that I accidentally took off the linky and was compounding my error by being horrible and not returning comments to. Thanks goodness it’s YOU! Whew! Now I feel better. π
Sorry for the confusion Lexa! Yeah that’s me.
