G is for Goryo

Alone in a strange land, she died, unknown and unmourned, not for many days, and yet. And yet. 

Her spirit lingers even now, in those she tried to help, those she could not save. And, they say, if you wander the field at night, if you mean any ill, she might drag you down, as she was dragged down into the earth, buried in a shallow grave, unfound for days.

Probably best to be careful, show respect, do good and not evil. You know, just in case.

For this letter, I decided to take a twist on the goryo – honored (noble, royal) spirits by making someone who others might overlook the honored spirit in the story.

  1. In the video the person showing us how not to anger the ancestors or the locals, did all things things that we’re not to do. So, did they get mad at him?
