Dear Frank,
You may be wondering where I have gone. Let’s face it. This was never going to work between us. You speak your mind, and I speak in poetry. You say things as they are, and I imagine them as they could be. I will miss you, but I think we can agree this is for the best.
With all my love forever,
Fortuna
P.S. Absolutely no chocolate for Emma after 7.
Fortuna ❤ Milk is in fridge, almond milk this time. I remembered! Porch light on. Kids in bed. Can neither confirm nor deny re: chocolate. Love, Frank.

I’m always down for a “This Is Just To Say…” riff! -Richard
I am going to pretend not to know what you are talking about but only to be clever. #SorryNotSorry

The modern relationship! Mind you, there are families who live this way out of necessity and not necessarily difference in approach – I actually had a friend who, before her boys became independent, exchanged notes with her husband on the fridge due to their shifts not coinciding!!! YAM xx
A very good-natured exchange in view of their situation, which is a good thing for the kids.Nice one.
Here’s my F!
I like Frank’s Frankness! 🙂
An interesting exchange of messages. I’d like to know more.
Whimsical and left me with a smile. Patrick Swayze was such a good leading man. I miss him 😦
Even with their differences they are more than civil, putting the kids needs first. He may be direct, but he cared enough to remember the almond milk. Lovely story Anne.
LOL. Now I want to watch Dirty Dancing again…
