Okay this is me being incredibly silly but … our 2 year old black and white cat, D.J. aka Diane Junior was put to sleep on Monday after a months-long battle with … the vets still aren’t sure what.
And I am sad. But the days are gorgeous and spring is giving way to summer and writing must be done.
And that’s all I have to say right now though. Next week, I’ll be back on the blog writing wagon. I just needed a minute. She was so young and such a good kitty and I am going to miss her a lot. Still working on edits and all that fun stuff but I’m blanking out on what to say else. I know it was just a cat but I miss her so much.

I’m so sorry to hear it. Yes, she’s just a cat, but cats can act almost like humans sometimes, and they can be great sources of comfort. I hope you can imagine her feeling better and purring contentedly in her new home in the sky.
I’m so sorry for your loss. To me losing an animal companion is on par with losing any other loved one. We love them and live with them for years. Bereavement is due.
