Hi, my name is Hope, and no, I don’t mean the human name. I’m not human. No, I’m that little spark left at the bottom after Pandora opened that horrible box, the one that released evil into the world. I’m that Hope.
I can’t guarantee things will get better, but I can make things a little easier, a little more … possible.
I’ll be around if you need me. Promise.
….
This is my very last-minute entry for Friday Fictioneers, where every week writers write 100-word stories. I’m back after yet another hiatus, hoping to stay around this time, thinking about starting a blog series, and … a lot of hoping. Nothing wrong with hope, even when it fails. Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Welcome back, Anne. Lovely to read you again
Hey there Anne! Welcome back! Love this story. How often they do not check the very bottom of the box. Lucky for us, you did 🙂
We’ll always need you! – Nancy
Aw… feeling all of that right now. I think we all need some hope and positivity.
it’s always wise to check what’s left inside the box. 🙂
Yes it is! Don’t want to accidentally throw anything away.
Welcome back, Anne. You’ve been missed. I like what Plaridel said 🙂
If we ever needed a smidgen of Hope, now is the time. Lovely to see you back again.
Oh I love this… that goodness a tiny hope is there
Dear Anne,
Not so very last minute. 😉 Always happy to see you back in the fffold. Yes, there’s always hope. Nicely done.
Shalom,
Rochelle
What a great read this is. We all need this little spark especially now.
