Don’t care what they say.
This is between you and me. Let’s declare our
Undying love
Before the ocean
In front of friends and family and … everyone else
On a beach, sand between our toes,
Carefully cracking glass ceilings beneath
our feet.
Tiki torches stuck in the ground
where they belong,
can light paths for our friends
as we
come and go and dance
and have fun.
That’s how a wedding should be.
That’s how life should be
for everyone,
whoever their parents may be,
however much money they make.
Never underestimate
the power of two people
who love each other
that much.
And yet, only one remains in the picture
Undying love? Thanks for visiting.
A happy day indeed.
Beautifully said, Anne. Enjoyed this one.
Yes, it is how it should be. The choice of the two who are in love…
Exactly, Dale. Thanks so much.
It’s their lives, to live as they choose. I wish them well.
That is, indeed, how life should be. Beautifully told.
Delightful, I wish I could have been there!
Same here. But, it’s never too late! I miss the beach and travel in general so much.
Two hearts cereaing one … as they want it to be.
Nicely done, AH. Be Safe 😷 … Isadora 😎
I love the lines, “That’s how a wedding should be. That’s how life should be.” Love between two people, love of life. Nicely done!
Why does it have to be such a big deal to makes one’s own choices about one’s own wedding! This is the way it ought to be 🙂
Sounds like a great day. My idea of a wedding!
Music and sand and sunshine, what more can you ask for?
Dear Anne,
Love it! Wealth and power should have nothing to do with love, should they? Nicely done.
Shalom,
Rochelle
A beautiful and powerful story Anne. Nicely done!
Lovely sentiments.
I have a wedding in a book I wrote, and it takes place on the beach. There couldn’t be a better setting.
As it should be, lovely 🙂
