How Easter Really Started
Genre: Fan fiction/crossover
Unlike my more notorious sister, I was always a well-behaved TARDIS. Then, one day, a white rabbit appeared outside my door, saying he was late and the queen would kill him. He wanted more time, ergo a time machine. I decided to give him something better.
Long story short, we decided to start delivering chocolate to every child on earth each spring, a daunting task for a rabbit, but perfectly doable for me. And now, White Rabbit has all the time he needs, no longer in service to an unjust regime. I have a friend. And, that’s how Easter really started.

For any non-Whovians out there, when I saw the phone box, I knew I was going to have to do something Doctor Who and then I thought – let’s do an Easter mixup.
Happy Easter/Pascha/Passover to all who celebrate/have recently celebrated. Would appreciate positive thoughts for our governor here in PA and for our Jewish community. He is Jewish and his residence was recently attacked, in the room where they had just commemorated the Passover (thankfully they had finished the Seder and gone to another room so no one was hurt).
I have not watched Doctor Who, but feel I could get some takeaways from your story – and nice and timely with Easter coming this weekend.
I saw the news about the PA Governor and sending prayers. I did like what he shared on the news earlier this year when the Learjet 55 crashed in Northeast Philadelphia on January 31. I remember noting how poised and personable he seemed.
Nice for the kids, but groundhog day for the bunny
What a cool take on the prompt. I enjoyed reading your story. Very smooth. Meaning your writing flows.
How terrible about your governor. I almost threw up when I saw it on the news. Prayers continue.
So that’s where it comes from. I always wondered.
When I was a kid, I suspected a Time Machine was in play and now I know.

Ah ha! Another TARDIS. Well done.
A unique take on the prompt. It seems a while since we last saw you.
Roll on Christmas.
Dear Anne,
An interesting take on the prompt and recreation of “history.” Nicely done and nice to see you back in the FFFold.
Shalom,
Rochelle
This was fun, Anne. Nice to see you again! And I really am going to have to watch some Doctor Who…
Happy Easter. I am in the states, but not PA but was horrified when I heard the news about setting the Gov. mansion on fire in PA. I am so glad that no one was hurt, but scary!
Anne, the attack is news to me and makes me sick at heart.
Your story is cute and a great escape from the horrors of the reality we are existing in now.
