December 7 question – It’s holiday time! Are the holidays a time to catch up or fall behind on writer goals?
Happy December and Happy IWSG Day! This past year has been a pretty crazy one for me. Back to full-time, in person at my library job and back to trying to figure out what to prioritize and what can maybe go on the back burner or be a nice activity I *used* to do.
Along the way, I have definitely been allowing my writing and sharing to fall by the wayside. I’m not even sure if this is a good or bad thing for me at this time. I’ve been doing a lot of writing, but it’s all been the kind of thing I don’t want to share. Holidays aka days off work are often a great time to do more of … all of that.
What about you? Are holidays a time to catch up or fall behind on life goals in general? Thinking about changing major life goals or focuses at this time? Let me know in the comments. I would love to read some comments. Have a great rest of the year and Happy New Year!
Yes, I’ve been the same, letting the writing side of things lapse. I’m all a-twirl with Christmas now so the writing will have to wait until after the holidays!
I just ease off my writing at this time of year. Then by the new year I try to work full blast again. I hope you have a happy holiday season!
Happy New Year, Anne!
All the best for 2023!
