Team Captain Alera sneaks into the church beside Lesha, both of them invisible to the naked eye. They’re in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, and the pews are almost entirely full for the Sunday Mass. A full chorus sings a contemplative communion song.
“What are you doing?” he asks her.
“Keeping on eye on Peter. That guy I told you about.”
“I figured that.”
“He just received Communion, which I think means he is not angry at God or he knows God is not angry at him. I’m still fuzzy on how that works here.”
“Me too,” Alera mutters. “Religious leaders should not sell what should be free.”
“What do you mean?”
“Long story. Church politics. Don’t worry about it.”
Alera watches her watch Peter return to his pew, their daughter cradled in his arms. Rob puts his arm around them. Lesha has placed an invisible wall around the new family, to keep them safe.
“Why are you doing that?” he asks. “You can’t protect them forever.”
“I know. But for a little while, I can. Should I not be doing that, you think?”
“No, Lesha. I think that you are exactly right. Carry on.”
There’s one or maybe two more Lesha the angel posts at the end of the month. Can’t remember. Anyway hope you have a great day.

My memory of St Patrick’s Cathedral on our visit to NY was that it was covered with scaffolding and we couldn’t see the outside at all! Inside was extraordinary though!
You offer an excellent message in these trying times of covid. Great video!
I believe in such things and I believe they have the right angel ❤
My "L" Tull song of the day is here:
Such a heartwarming little snippet of the story.
So sweet!
